Yea I don't think so. There's still the 250 million plus grown ups in the US at work and trying to earn a living, they still have a say. If we all took off work to stomp around and cry, our country would fall into a huge depression. Cause most of America would be closed...lol.... When you seek failure, you know nothing but failure. Wanting the New President to fail is like putting an E3 fresh from AIT in charge of a whole seasoned platooned in the middle Kabul! Ain't no way your coming out of that shit alive!

All these protests, all these people just want to be heard! You'all just want a chance. Then give the man your same respect! He just wants to be heard, he just wants a chance! Opportunities come in the form of work! Everyone here in this well organized rallies and riots just proves that every American here is capable of working. Takes a lot of energy and time, some times days on end to get ready for one of these. A job looks the same way. Time of the free hand outs is over!

This country was built on the backs of hard working men and woman like John Henry, Amerigo Vespucci, John Smith, Kit Carson, Neil Armstrong, MLK, Tecumseh, Sitting Bull, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Washington, Lincoln, Mark Twain, Elvis! Just to name a few. I don't ever remember Great leader demoralizing themselves by wearing "pinkpussy" hats! Please!

Disgraceful behavior.

That had nothing to do with the women's march. The women's march was planned after the election and the date was not set until December for the day after the election because they would not give a permit for the 20th so it was given for the 21st. That was a peaceful march with no arrests. And there was plenty of support. It was all over the United States and the largest protest in history. As far as doing it right what would you consider doing it right? Sit at home and do nothing? That is not going to happen. We have the right to march in protest and we will continue to do so as long as he continues to order scientific data paid for by the American people to to be destroyed. While he choses profit over water and environment. When he decided to divert federal funds to build a stupid wall but not fund healthcare that is a basic human right that every other civilized democracy in the world has but us. Democracy is dying and the Tepublicans are killing it and when they through with the 19th century protectionist economic tactics that took us straight into the Great Depression. Or caused a tariff war that inspired Japan to attack Pearl Harbor or go all the way back to the secondary cause of the civil war where there was the high imposition of tariffs from the north on the south that North Carolina had considered seceding as early as 1830. You people want to call librals eleitst but maybe we just are more educated on the subject. I am not a surgeon and I don't try to tell one that I know more. I also know absolutely nothing about motorcycles so I would not question anyone on those issues. But this is something I did study. The only people who are going to benifit from the economic plan that the republicans are wanting to implement are the top 1% and they have convinced their base it's the only way. The plan HRC had was based on Sam Waltons plan before his kids sold out when even the lowest cashier could retire a millionaire. Being from Arkansas I know a few. This country has screwed itself! You know, in six months non of this will even matter! And no matter what million and one reasons there were for the protests, the world will only remember woman walking around with "PussyHats" and scarfed "Vaginas" on. because really, that's all I saw the media covering.
What we do in the present will always and forever follow us in the future. I only hope you feel as strongly about your decisions then, as you do now. Because IF President Trump doesn't fail, and we thrive again as a country. Well let's just say I wouldn't want to have that protest on my Facebook as having been a participant.
Good luck to each and everyone of you, I can only hope and wish you the best. God Bless. I a man truly done with this subject. Thank you.

The speeches on 1/21 (shown on C-SPAN and yes, Fox News) horrified my wife. One of the things she said-- admitting that she read it somewhere on line: "I am part of the 33 million womens' march. On November 8, we marched into the voting booths and voted for Trump." (I thought that number high, and looked it up on Wikipedia. Doing the math, I got 33,379,484.)

Trying to "stop the Trump agenda" does nothing to win over the 62,980,160 people who deliberately voted for the man because they believe in the message.

SSG (Join to see) - That is fine that you want to update the information, but where is the additional information about the associated protest outside the US, the article that you linked only list two. And your addition is off, in the list you provided it is less than 3 million for the top 10 US cities, but that is not the point.

The point is that the number presented at the time and in the article is a world-wide number, not just the US. The second point and the more important point - the associated protest outside the US, which should have no bearing on US politics or laws is a worrying point.
Next, let's take a look at some of the numbers. We can start with Washington, D.C.:
One report states 750,000 and the Women's March site states 1,000,000.
That is a big difference, the lower number is probably more reliable due to the source.
However, a number of reports leave critical information out, which actually makes both the actions and the intent of the ORGANIZATIONS (not the people) questionable.
Another of the number is the more than 600 cities, that is probably accurate as far as it goes, but it does not designate how many are in the US and how many were outside the US. What is interesting is that in the list provided by your source 2 or the top 15 gatherings were cities outside the US.

Marches occurred worldwide, with 168 in 81 other countries. Officials behind the organization reported 673 marches worldwide, with 20 in Mexico and 29 in Canada. I consider that a problem when it has a direct effect on our political process.

Defend that if you can. By the way the march's website with cities etc., is located at:

The top 10 cities in the US had a total of 3,080,000 people protesting. The point wasn't to provide a comprehensive update, it was to point out that initial estimates were low, the most current estimate on the link you posted is almost 5 million. I think its great that people in other countries are protesting our Neo-Fascist President as well as millions of Americans, I hope and pray it successfully prevents Trump from implementing some of his more extreme ideas like registering Muslims.
