Interesting that this alleged attack comes on the heals of Trump's announcement (or desire) to pull out of Syria while the elites in Washington want us to stay.

It is likely a false flag attack to justify further intervention by US/UK/NATO, I imagine the Russian forces will be hit this time, if for no other reason then to test their resolve.

I keep imagining The Guns of August, 1914.

Indeed. Since Trump was harshly critical of Obama for not doing anything when this happened on his watch, I'm looking forward to seeing what Trump will do about it.
