Bolton is a war hawk and the left has attacked him for his pro-war rhetoric. Today, the left will embrace him as a hero while attacking trump for firing him.
They didn't want him at his nomination, blocking it twice and now they love him. The left has completely adopted doublethink in their public stances.

Democrats Again Block Bolton Nomination
For the second time in a month, Senate Democrats block the confirmation of John Bolton to become U.N. ambassador and are urging President Bush to consider another candidate. The president left open the possibility that he'd bypass the Senate and appoint Bolton during the July Fourth congressional recess.
