It all sounds like sour grapes to me, LTC (Join to see)! Like, "Damn, we wish we had done that!"
Had the United States not undertaken to become an independent country, we'd still be shuffling along and acting like Canada!
Would we rather watch the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds or the Snowbirds (which still may be grounded due to aircraft age, maintenance and funding issues)?!

Thanks for sharing LTC (Join to see) a Canadian take on the Revolutionary War. Since Canada sided with the UK I think their view may be jaundiced.

All true and IMO, not meant as a sarcastic piece. As Hopper (correctly) points out, the icing on the cake of British provocation was the passage of the Quebec Act, which is usually identified in U.S. history books as the "Intolerable Acts." Those loyal to the British throne were tarred and feathered and run out of town, their property and goods confiscated by the Revolutionaries, hence creating the refugees of the American Revolution. The title didn't need to be quite so provocative, but then again, the article was meant to attract attention, and it worked - :D

I did not think the article was false at all but I needed to be neutral because I was feeding the story to the veterans of rallypoint. So far, one knowledgeable Captain agreed that the stories are correct. I missed the story last week and I was going through the July 4th paper and I noticed it and published it here last night. Maybe that was a good thing because that would have been sour grapes on the 4th of July while doing it yesterday or this morning it's after the fact. I didn't want to be unpatriotic I just wanted those here to validate the points which you have and others have. It's good to know both sides the story.
