Said it before I will say it again. The banks lost all right to claim any moral ground when they received a bailout from the American People to avoid going under. Bank of America exists because the people bailed them out. They need to take their false statements about stemming violence and shut their pie holes. I would say that is discriminating lending practices, and they should be sued for it. $20B ought to be about right, one dollar for every dollar they received in the bailout.

So a 100% legally operating company in the US will be/could be denied financing because BOA does not like their product. Their product is 100% legal. I wonder if they have cut off an financing of alcohol producers, or any of the new "legalized marijuana" businesses or even the cell phone and cell providers as far more people are killed by drunk and stoned drivers and distracted drivers than semi automatic weapons.

Cpl Jeff N. Because Marijuana is federally banned, they cannot use banks for their business. They are a cash only industry. That being said, I agree with you, but you forgot the big one Auto Manufacturers. How many more people are injured by cars, buses, trucks, and sadly motorcycles in a year than are injured by firearms?

Very true Sgt. Only certain groups can be discriminated against. You have to be in a “protected class.” You know what’s not a protected class? Law abiding citizens.
