I went in 1974 so it had just changed a little.

I joined in 1981. Same uniform except we had green name tapes and collar rank. We carried the M-16 instead of M-14.

Otherwise pretty much the same

Lt Col Charlie Brown I went in 1959. Signal Corp. Had to wear wool uniforms. Was stent to Korea. Basic was almost as tough though.
