Have you ever looked up the wikipedia of the deployments you have been on? I never knew that my deployment is basically referred to as the Second Battle of Ramadi. It was surreal to see the name of my BC and then find out intel reports that explained why we pushed so hard in the city. I even remember getting the radio transmission that we were extended. Memories just came flooding back!

Yep, also other operations as in Humanitarian missions, and disaster Recovery Operations. I even looked up Shield/ Storm, was on Deception task Force Troy, and My Battalion Built the left Hook High way and it is crazy to read about it and see after action reports.
