Interesting, the BBC is one of the largest and most well respected news organizations on the planet. I've generally found that they (along with Al Jazeera) tend to be better at covering U.S. political stories than any American media company because all of the American companies are biased in one way or another. Of course not to say that the BBC or Al Jazeera are without bias but they have less of a vested interest in U.S. politics so they can afford to be a little bit removed from it in their reporting.

ITV in Britain is far more accurate, fair and reliable than the government controlled and funded BBC. Have you ever lived there, watched the news everyday?

I wasn't speaking about their coverage of U.K. or Commonwealth related news, I was specifically speaking about their coverage of U.S. politics which while less than perfect, is a whole lot better and less biased than what you'd get from ANY major U.S. news organization because all of them are significantly biased in one direction or another.
