"Traditional fathers (those who think their wives should do more caregiving and their wives actually do) and egalitarian fathers (those who think caregiving should be divided equally and indeed do this) show markedly higher levels of life satisfaction compared to conflicted fathers, who are caught in a state of dissonance. These fathers feel they should be doing more to share caregiving but admit to not doing so. Conflicted dads report significantly lower satisfaction with their careers and their lives outside of work. I'm confused with Millennial, egalitarian, but think I was probably traditional or like my Father was. But I think I am a pretty good Grand Father & my grand daughter's young pals think I look like Clint Eastwood but I told them all "No Way, No How, I am much younger than Old Clint and much better looking than he is".... Not sure they agreed????
