'Beetle Bailey' Creator Mort Walker Dies at 94

Mort Walker, creator of Beetle Bailey, passed away. I think all of us Army soldiers can relate to their home away from home, Camp Swampy, and all of the characters. Well, except for Miss Buxley...... Most of the characters were actually based on his frat brothers from the U of Missouri. Mort Walker served in the Army, mostly in Italy, from 1943 to 1947. Salute. COL Mikel J. Burroughs
