1SG James W.:
I am decidedly not sure either, First Sergeant.
We-us Retired military- need someone who is our protagonist; and on our side.
I send up fervent prayers and great hopes; with regards to this matter.
Most Sincerely, Margaret C Higgins US Army (Ret)

If you review the last 20 years our greatest increases have come from some of our great adversaries. The bush's didn't do anything to make our wage a living wage and neither did any Republican in Congress or Senate. So all of them from old bumpy face McCain to fat bottom Graham can shove it. The great majority of Soldiers and Sailors, ok even the Airmen (jk) shouldn't be living just at or above poverty. It's not Socialism it's common damn sense. America isn't and hasn't been great for a lot of people and mostly it's for the people who defend it. We can't earn a decent wage or afford decent healthcare. The best we can hope for is not to go to the Phoenix VA.

Half the article was about commissary benefits. I never thought the commissary was such a great place when I was in and haven't been to one since I retired. But then again, I was in the army so I more than likely was never in one of the nicer ones.
