Except that I don't trust the government to do what is right even if it is required to by law. Nice try. Hope it passes, but I'm not banking on it actually doing anything.

If you buy a single firearm, the records are supposed to be destroyed after 48 hours if you check out......Except if you buy multiple firearms at the same time...Then they are kept.
