Berliners are trolling Trump by shipping him a 2.7-ton piece of the Berlin Wall

The Berlin Wall was not the same as the southern border wall. The Berlin Wall was built to keep East German citizens from fleeing to West Berlin. And the border guards would shoot their own citizens if they attempted to flee. The US/Mexico wall is intended to stop the illegal trafficking of people, drugs, and weapons from south to north. If you get caught crossing illegally you get arrested/detained, not killed. If you want to enter the US you still can. Fly in and be processed at the airport for entry. Come to the border crossing points and do the same thing. Come by ship and be processed by Customs, but don't just walk in or climb the fence. US citizens can still freely travel and enter Mexico under Mexican law. Border Patrol is not going to kill you for going to Juarez, Acapulco, or Tiajuana. Nothing happens when you do it legally.
