Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on April 16, 1947 Multimillionaire and financier Bernard Baruch coined the term “Cold War” to describe relations between the United States and the Soviet Union during the unveiling of his portrait in the South Carolina House of Representatives.
Like many of us, I served during the Cold War in a forward deployed location.

"Cold War" aptly describes my service during this period in the hills and mountains of West Germany. It got cold for sure.
