I wonder if SMs leave the service with no plan, bad plan, or good plan educationally and occupationally.

I was not a strategic planner for my life. I did know well enough to not burn any bridges ahead of me.

If you know some folks in the Seattle community, my mother who is in Seattle now is having an estate sale. There will be lots of solid tropical wood furniture and many wood carvings like the picture I am posting.

I was accepted at Hawaii, Washington (Seattle), and Texas A&M. I think my father was pushing me to go to Hawaii so he could his life vicariously through me.
