Gas stoves provide a flexibility in cooking and heat control electric stoves don’t . Gas is cheaper than electricity. I think Biden wil such. Howl his ears will hurt if he tries to ban gas stoves.

You're right, on cheaper to use a gas stove, and a gas stove fire, is just better than a electric stove. Maybe, I like it better because, growing up, we didn't have electricity.

My wife prefers to cook on a gas stove, however, we found out using gas causes her to have headaches so now we are in an "all electric" house. I would imagine there are many other cooks that prefer cooking over a flame also. I also wonder if he has ever actually cooked a meal himself.

Good information to know about gas can cause headaches. At my house we have been using butane for years for stove top cooking, oven cooking is still electric.
Growing up in the early 60's, we didn't have electricity, we used a wood fire stove, and kerosene stove, and lanterns.
Grandma always used a wood fire cooking stove, my job was to make sure grandma's wood didn't go under half way. One day, my father and his brother bought grandma an electric stove, she never used it for cooking, and used it for storing her pots in the oven. Lol
