OK. Catholic's get a lot of stuff wrong and I know, I was Catholic for 20+ years! Now I'm a Christian and I love the Catholic's and always will!

I've always considered Catholic and Christian to be distinctly different myself. Though Catholics see themselves as Christians, many Evangelical Christians see Catholics as something other than Christian. It's a distinction that you have to look deep into the Evangelical Christian beliefs to fully understand.
The average Catholic thinks we are nuts when we try to explain it to them. It's part of what is the distinction between Catholic and Protestant belief.
