RP Members and Motorcyclist - Bikers do it again for veterans!
70,000 veterans in West Tennessee, and not a single veterans home. This weekend, Gold Star Mothers, who’ve lost love ones to war, helped change that with a little help from some bikers. The gold star moms rode from Bumpus Harley Davidson in Memphis to the future sight of the West Tennessee Veterans home, alongside the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
The moms presented a check for $6,000 to help build the Home. The Gold Star moms partner with Bumpus Harley every year for a fundraiser called “Tour of Duty” which has raised more than $70,000 for veterans and their families.

It is wonderful that the Gold Star Mothers, who’ve lost love ones to war, presented a check for $6,000 to help build the West Tennessee Veterans home.

It is always great news to see people willing to donate both time and money for the betterment of the Veterans in need. The local VFW and American Legion Posts in my area along with several clubs were able to do this same thing a few years ago. It is awesome to be a part of the solution and help provide for our ailing Veterans. Thank you to all who Serve, have Served and continue to support both our Country and it's Veterans.
