These are the values that a true so-called Christian should aspire to or never claim to be a Christian and lower the value of the meaning. Christian comes from the Greek word Christos, basically meaning Christ Like. I am an agnostic but admire What Christ stood for and people who act as they preach about being Christian, only if they live the life it defines. That simply means live the life as Christ would. I failed as a Christian but none of this has to do with if Christ is the Son Of God. That is a separate part of this story.

SPC Jeremy Kieler - I read what you showed on your profile. I assume you are going into politics or already are. You sound like you have the education but not the heart. I would not vote for you because your feelings are cold and heartless. If I am wrong add those facts to your profile.

I pray that you and I are spiritually maturing and becoming more virtuous in compassion, humility, and grace in all forms, my friend and brother-in-Christ Capt Marty Hogan.
Thank YOU, LORD that by virtue of the atonement of Jesus the Christ, YOU have imputed righteousness to each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters.
I pray that we each are maturing in the faith gracefully. I am thankful that YOU are pruning us of our inherent tendency towards vice and grafting in virtue.
Cleanse of us of our tendency towards unrighteous judgement of people. Holy Spirit I pray YOU prompt us and remind us that each person has a soul created in YOUR image and is worthy of respect on that truth alone.
LORD I pray for a fresh infilling by YOU Holy Spirit for each of YOUR adopted sons and daughter. I pray that YOU increase the fruit of the Spirit in proportion to the needs of those around us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Empower us to be a blessing to those who are struggling with their own dignity to encourage and uplift them through intercessory prayer.
Restore the dignity of those who have been degraded.
Convict each one who is intent on degrading the dignity of those who trust their guidance and opinion. For those who repent restore the relationship in accordance with their repentance.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted children and their loved ones slept well Tuesday night.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

The best virtue in my book that a leader should have besides courage, is honesty, the leader needs to be trusted for it, without it there can be no true leadership. Have a great morning and day COL Burroughs.

Something I've noticed in the workplace, esp. in corporate structures, is that while yr immediate supervisor will promise to stand with one, it often turns out that he/she has no ability to do so without putting his/her own job in jeopardy. One is a peg to place in the slot, but many other pegs would be fine ... My husband's workplace was bought out in a hostile take-over & the new company readily rid themselves of the former supervisors. Even foremen. Having worked for the former Canadian co, a co. with family values, committed to maintaining the crews, it was quite a shock to experience the other.
I was raised where one's word was one's bond. It seems that world us considered quaint, these days!

One without the other is valueless. Courage takes you into a battle but alone if your men do not trust your ability and character.
