These are the values that a true so-called Christian should aspire to or never claim to be a Christian and lower the value of the meaning. Christian comes from the Greek word Christos, basically meaning Christ Like. I am an agnostic but admire What Christ stood for and people who act as they preach about being Christian, only if they live the life it defines.That simply means live the life as Christ would. I failed as a Christian but none of this has to do with if Christ is the Son Of God. That is a separate part of this story.

Something I've noticed in the workplace, esp. in corporate structures, is that while yr immediate supervisor will promise to stand with one, it often turns out that he/she has no ability to do so without putting his/her own job in jeopardy. One is a peg to place in the slot, but many other pegs would be fine ... My husband's workplace was bought out in a hostile take-over & the new company readily rid themselves of the former supervisors. Even foremen. Having worked for the former Canadian co, a co. with family values, committed to maintaining the crews, it was quite a shock to experience the other.
I was raised where one's word was one's bond. It seems that world us considered quaint, these days!
