Dignity is important. Many people confuse dignity with respect. Dignity is internal and respect is external. Only you can destroy or give away your dignity. As long as you live your life with honor, your dignity is intact.

I pray that you and I are spiritually mature enough to recognize the dignity that we honor others with is a direct reflection of our own, my friend and sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown .
Give each of us eyes to see and a heart sensitive to YOU Holy Spirit. Empower us to treat each person with sincere respect – especially those we are inclined to look askance at.
I pray for an increase of the fruit of the Holy Spirit humility for each one of us. Give us endurance to do good in the face of evil with grace and compassion for those being afflicted.
Empower parents to model humility for their children.
Do what it takes to bring humility to elected officials at all levels. I pray that YOU bring humiliation to each elected or appointed official who is abusing their own of office. Let their pride go before their fall from grace.
I pray that schoolchildren across this nation are learning that each of their classmates need to be treated with dignity.
