How do you know when you are dealing with someone who is insecure in their ideology and opinions? Well, one sure sign is when they demand that anyone who disagrees with them be silenced. That's proof positive.

SP5 Christine Conley - Great response. Not one piece of information. Just petulant jabbering. Please don't let me stop you [BTW, for anyone following this "conversation", let this be an object lesson on how to be blocked by someone. Trust me, it's coming. I simply ask questions and challenge people when they refuse to respond until they become frustrated and then sign off with one more piece of nonsense, and when I attempt to again ask a question, ole Grumpy Cat pops up]

SP5 Christine Conley - Why don't you answer the question instead of throwing around insults? What are you afraid of? BTW, in case you forgot the question: Can you provide evidence of Trump trying to shut up people who disagree with him? We've gone through several iterations of this now and you have yet to respond.

SP5 Christine Conley - So, this is your evidence. Well, thank you for responding at last. Well, it is true that President Trump has complained about the media, and that some call this a "War on Free Speech". Is it? Has President Trump forbidden anyone from using words and phrases of which he disapproves? President Obama certainly did. "Radical Islamic terrorists" and "War on Terror" were stricken from the official government lexicon while he was President, but I have not heard of any such prohibitions since President Trump assumed office. Does the President (or any American for that matter) have the right to fight back when attacked by the media? Of course he does, but those in the media (and apparently you) interpret that as a War on Free Speech. Do you feel threatened or have you lost anything because of your ideas or expressing them? No? Well, then. Allow me to simply respond that the linked article is simply another example of the petulant hyperbole (or call it hysteria) similar to the Salem Witch Trials. Still, thank you for at least responding to a simple question. Now I may return to ignoring you.

SP5 Christine Conley - No one, not even President Trump is excoriating NFL players for exercising their First Amendment Rights. We the People (and that includes enough of us to take down ticket sales and TV viewership significantly) are tired of them acting like assholes. They may continue to exercise their rights and we may continue to turn our attention elsewhere
