I think we should explore all energy options for our country including clean coal, hydro, solar, wind farms, natural gas and nuclear. I want to protect the environment but I am not willing to live in a cave to do it. We need to find a happy median between environmental responsibility and economic success.

Exactly! Although R&D hasn't been that productive up to this point. I don't mind the continuing deployment of green, but do mind the taxpayer subsidies for it. As fossil fuels run out, renewables will be the choice. We are not there yet.

This continues with California being linked to Quebec carbon tax and carbon trading system. Watch California and Quebec a both suffer because it's going to add energy costs from $10 per ton to $50 per ton in the next few years and California and Quebec are going it alone.
