My organization, County Veteran Service Officers Association of Wisconsin, just drafted a letter in support of this legislation. Currently in Wisconsin we have Amber alert (missing child), Silver alert (missing elderly), and soon hopefully Green alert.

8 days?? I thought the standard for missing persons was 24 hours?

The bill is still in the works, but it would be most likely less than 24 hours.
