the player with most points scored in NFL history: Morten Andersen got in and served
most snubbed: Terrell Owens
2nd all time receiving yards, 3rd all-time TD. Im not a TO fan and I think he talks too much. However, his resumes he should not only got in this year, but shouldve been a 1st ballot pick.
i like Brian Dawkins and deserved to get eventually. They only put five modern day players a year, he can wait his turn. The HOF isnt a joke, its the elite of the elite. Congrats to LT, Terrell Davis, Jason Taylor, Morten Andersen, and Jerry Jones all deserving

forgot Kurt Warner, oh course his resume is solid. Well deserved.
As for kickers getting in, if youre the elite of the elite for your position, you should get in. Football is a team sport and takes every position to have success. I dont believe in position discrimination

You believe Terrell Davis was a better RB than Brian Dawkins was a safety?
T.O. should have been a 1st ballot guy. My 5 for this year, out of the 15, would have been:
LaDainian Tomlinson
Terrell Owens
Kurt Warner (or Andersen)
Brian Dawkins
Jason Taylor
I have a hard time giving a guy who only played 4 full seasons a HOF nod over a guy who had 6 All-Pro selections in his career. Davis was a great back, but not for very long which is a big deal for me.
For Andersen, the biggest knock against him is his pedestrian percentage. He only kicked 80% over his career. I might would give him the nod over Warner, only because Warner was not consistently great and not one of the greatest at his position.

PFC Jim Wheeler - i can live with your top five. If thats how happened, i wouldn't argue against it.

SFC Michael Jackson, MBA - I'm really surprised at how this year turned out for the hall.
I did not expect two people at the same position. This is only the 4th time that has ever happened IIRC.
Some of the things Dawkins did were incredible. I just can't see how Davis is more deserving of the hall than Owens or Dawkins, especially because Dawkins doesn't have any of the character issues that are keeping T.O. out.

I don't even remember who made the Hall this past year (without reading the story...which I am about to). Thank you PFC Jim Wheeler

They just decided it today.
It was Kurt Warner, LaDainian Tomlinson, Terell Davis, Jason Taylor, and Morten Anderson.

PO1 John Crafton - Good players, sure. Best 5 of the 15 finalists though?
