Brits School U.S. Troops in Tea-Making, But They Prefer Coffee

SSG Robert Mark Odom when I first went in the Army a week after my 17th birthday, I only drank tea which is how i was brought up by my parents and English grandmother. When I got to basic I asked for tea and they must have thought i was crazy! All they had was coffee so I started drinking coffee and did so until about 20 years ago when I met my current wife. Now I drink tea at home in the evening but still prefer my coffee during the day.

...but tea is the "civilized drink"! :)
