Thanks for reminding us that while he was President, George W. Bush congratulated the 2005 World Champion Boston Red Sox baseball team for winning their first World Series since 1918 TSgt Joe C..

President Bush would have been honoring the 2004 World Series Champions Boston Red Sox on that day in 2005; in the 2005 MLB season Boston went 95-67 and tied with the Yankees for the AL East (Yankees took first place on a head-to-head tiebreaker), but lost to the Chicago White Sox in the AL Divisional Series and then they (the White Sox) went on to win the World Series. The Red Sox also won the World Series in 2007 and 2013! Not being picky, however the record needed to be corrected! I know it was 2004, because that was the last time I cried!
PS: That was the first sign of the Apocalypse. #2 was the Cubs winning the World Series in 2016, #3 was Trump's 2016 defeating of the Clinton Presidential Machine, and #4 was Brady and the Patriots amazing come from behind win in the 2017 Super Bowl. 3 more signs to go!
