I am placing bets on the AF General that made the big dramatic speech. Get Out! Will he now come out and defend his Air Force? Will he defend the greatest generation that has been in a state of sustained war for 17 years? My bet is no he will not. Here is the news sports fans, it is not racism that is corrupting the military. It is Liberalism. A failed ideology. https://youtu.be/Jtcl8-nViHo

I don't see how this new development would change anything he said in the video. There's still no place for racism or discrimination within the military. What should he apologize for?

He stood in front of the cadets and down dressed them publically for this specific event. He assumed one or more of them had done the act. He impugned the character of the group with his pointed words long before the facts were known. He wanted to virtue signal his displeasure at the group and they had done nothing. Had he been remotely tuned in, he would have waited for the facts but he was more interested in virtue signaling.

I would think standing in front of a group like that and essentially berating them and chastising them for something we now know they did not do would merit an apology. That is what an honorable person would do. It could go something like this.

Cadets, I assumed the worse about some of you and publically chastised each of you and this institution. We now know the incident was a hoax. I should have waited for the facts before I made any statement or assumed the worst of you all. For that I apologize. There is no place in the armed forces for racism that is true but there is also no place in the armed forces for those that would fake such an incident to bring discredit upon this institution and each of you.

I will not hold my breath.
