"Opposing the John Wayne Day resolution is like opposing apple pie, fireworks, baseball, the Free Enterprise system and the Fourth of July!" he said later in a written statement.

Pretty Sad. Is this just another PC situation that is plane old BS?

Well, anything representing "Good ole America" is not savvy in California. I don't find this surprising but I do find it disappointing.
