CO2 producing Machinery will still be used in matter what they do. I don't listen to Fox News and I mostly read the paper. California taxpayers will have to pay the brunt of it. Storing power at night or in cloudy days using backup CO2 producing energies will still be around for a long time. I still think some of the people are Walter mitty's and are having unreasonable expectations. Natural gas is shutting down nuclear power plants. Solar panels will not displace Natural Gas.
