Once upon a time, the Tournament of Roses parade inspired countless people to pack up and move to California. Seeing the beautiful weather on their color TV's while hunkering down from the blizzard blowing outside, the Left Coast sure looked enticing, didn't it? Well, you better read this before you start packing. Unfortunately, I'm already trapped here, but most of these taxes don't affect me because I don't smoke and I'm sure as hell not among the state's top wage earners. However, I suspect that it's going to get lonely around here as the taxpayers flee and the mooches follow them for parts unknown.

Just wait until the big spenders have to pay their taxes and interest on those multiple homes and not recover it from the rest of our taxes. Must be nice to have multi-million dollar homes and be able to get relief from the middle class to do so. Shouldn't be an issue though the standard deduction increase will make up for it. (sarc) CPT Jack, sorry about all your homes and the deductions you will lose on them.
