We had a guy that said a lot of s**t he knew very little about.. I got him To go on a hospital visit with us . We did bingo and had sandwich and beverage treats and coupon prizes to use in the px. (We quit buying those and gave them a couple dollars. Those books cost 50 cents each but it took a lot of books to buy s’thing..
It was kind of a scam the VA store had..
I took him out to the V.F.W. Nat’l Home for Children to see what we had going on
He said he thought Mooseheart was big. The Nat home had it beat.. We did Bingoes at the post and showed him where that $$ goes.. right back to the schools Voice of Democracy and patriot’s pen.. the timing was right and he got to see an awards ceremony and heard the kids and send them get scholarships ..
showed him we all were not a bunch of drunks sitting around telling war stories..
changed his attitude and he told others ..
got to change people’s perceptive about us Vets ..

Somethings you don't say. I hope he suffers for the rest of his life.
