California veterans home threatens to expel 84-year-old widow for leading Bible study group

Uhh...honestly, I don't even know what to remotely even try to say to that, you know? Wow....

READ THE STORY: It was the Chaplin's office that removed her because she was scaring other residents. She now refuses to stop even though she no longer works on behalf of the Chaplin. She is speaking to very elderly, and in many cases, mentally impaired patients. Her beliefs tend toward the extreme -in fact it was her hell-fire preaching that got her removed in the first place. I should add here that this is basically a nursing home --the residents don't have the same abilities or privileges that we all have, so it is the job of the staff to protect their well-being, both mental and physical. People need to stop being automatically triggered by anything that mentions Jesus and start actually reading these articles. MEDIA LITERACY.
