Please believe me when I tell you, it is very historic it's the story of how OSS apparently recruited German double agents from allied POW camps for Germans during the war in Europe. It's very cryptic in places and has a really odd biblical quotemat at the beginning or end I forget which well worth scrutinizing. The author George Howe was apparently OSS and the movie with Richard Basehart was very thinly veiled yet quite gritty in performances believe me you'd want to read the book and see the movie both are essentially true I've gathered though as I said thinly veiled honest.
