SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL If I was still on Active Duty I would not be very active on social media. I would not want to put my TS clearance in jeopardy. Because perception is everything and Senior NCOs must set the standard.

It is certainly possible SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that social media posts can hurt security clearances. Any of the following should affect security clearances:
If somebody posts an image or verbiage while deployed which gives an indication of operational ...
If anywhere somebody posts information which is classified - including operational names which are classified. I warned my son who was in 3/75 Ranger battalion to be careful.
If somebody posts information which is threatening to another individual or any US official.

It was just a matter of time for this to be implemented. I've seen numerous people post the wrong things on social media.
