Ultimately it will all depend on voter turn out. Also some states allow independents to vote in the D or R primary as they choose (one or the other not both). So it is going to be interesting.

I agree and I think it is worth mentioning that even though some voters like myself do search the internet to learn for ourselves how a certain candidate may see a certain issue that I think is important, a poll that is only based on internet searching may be a little screwed but I like it because unlike the major news channels these results are truly from the people. Either way, like you said PO3 Steven Sherrill, it is going to be interesting.

I wonder just how much the "polls" actually affect the outcome of our elections.
Polls and studies can be ver good and very useful. However, I am concerned because I believe that polls and studies have a very real tendency to come out it the way the ones who paid for them desire the outcome to be.

That is what made me want to look at this information Capt (Join to see). What Google and Bing are showing is not a poll, its data on search terms. Google Trends has been around for awhile and shows you who or what is being searched for the most. This information is just showing which candidate is being searched for more at a given time. Of course, searching for someone does not mean that person will get the vote but it does show interest in the process.

It will be most interesting to compare these figures, with the polling numbers and the actual results.
