Canticle for Leibowitz, Episode 01, Old Time Radio

I read the Walter Miller Jr novel as an undergrad, if you've never read it, listen to the audio book, it's reasonably credibly done, though one tends to get the flavor of the story, I'd found, somewhat more coherently in actually reading the book, per se, though the audio book does tend to give it a rather different dimension.. I've frequently wondered hpabout how to cast a film version, and who'd play what part, you know!? It's a ver weird, offbeat, post-apocalyptic sci fi story, if you've never seen it before, with some quite odd and equally offbeat historical observations woven in the plot and humor.
