Capitalism as we know it is dead: Salesforce co-CEO

Very interesting but the headline "Capitalism is Dead" is click bait. There is nothing in his statements that indicates that business is no longer owned and operated by private persons for profit. He is, however, advocating for business to report on its contributions to stakeholders as well as stockholders. Interesting and good marketing concept, but hardly earth shattering. I learned this back in the 70s while studying Customer-Oriented Marketing concepts (developed in the 50s). In that framework, stakeholders are defined as "publics" to which every business must appeal: Customers, Vendors, Employees, Management, Shareholders, Government, Media. (Hot damn, I remembered all seven. Now, if only I could remember what I just ate for breakfast)
