Captain America Wallet - Captain America: Civil War

I wonder how Disney knew that Captain Rogers was the S-3 from the famed 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment - "Rakkasans" - currently assigned to the 101st Airborne? Well they didn't, because the Rakkasans served with the 11th Airborne Division as a glider infantry regiment during the war in the Pacific. A little research on their pat would save some embarrassment. However, some lucky Major in Fort Campbell has a cool wallet now. Anyone know the lucky guy?
