SFC Pete Kain, Ms Larson is in for a rude awakening if she gets her wish...... About 68% of people who actually read the comics, follow the movies, and buy the merchandise are male. She is free to speak her mind outside of official channels, but bucking Marvel, and complaining that ANY race, creed, color, religion or sexual orientation should not come to see her movie is straight up bigoted on her part.
Her generalizations about movie critics needing to be divided into categories of 30% white males, 30% white females, 20% men of color, and 20% women of color, to match up with her idea of racial norms, would run in to some severe problems if she would try to turn them around and say that some professional sports teams need to be broken down into the same percentages.
I think the young woman has some good ideas, but she needs to learn how to better articulate her ideas without sounding like she is trying to institute the Brie Larson US sociological normalcy program if she wants to hold on to her career which is largely supported by the people who she is insulting.

Capt Dwayne Conyers, not to burst any bubbles... lol, but I think that Ororo Munroe, better known as "Storm" from the X-Men franchise will probably have that distinction. Although I agree that Monica Rambeau will very likely have a very long and distinguished story as the future of Captain Marvel, it seems that the X-Men franchise will be joining the MECU long before little Moncia can join the Harbor Patrol.
