Don't discount a potential job at Mercedes-Benz, one of my Female coworkers landed a job at their finance arm in Detroit and loved working for them. They have offices throughout the United States (for English speakers)and in Germany (for German speakers). Plus you get a deep discount on a Benz purchase if you do end up working for them.

They Used to Pay well and had good Positions ... many of the Folks I served with spoke European languages and got scarfed Up for Jobs PDQ...

They are looking for Americans in IT especially, heavy recruiting effort underway. Some jobs like DBA they prefer German Language fluency (which is not that hard to learn via a few courses, in my opinion).......others they do not care so much. Most U.S. Jobs at their Charleston, SC HQ with opportunities for worldwide travel or relocation.
