I was "intercepted" by the local police when someone "dropped a dime" on my friend and me shooting at cans in a lake with our slingshots. It was my first "weapon control law" violation.
We had to throw the slingshots into the lake. After "disarming" ourselves, we continued our target practice by throwing stones at the cans. Just as "dangerous", not as accurate.
