I read several of these many, many years ago. Interesting books as he went through the history fighting in some of the most well known militaries

I 'm pretty sure I read them all. Decent bit of historical background in them all. I noticed towards the end of the series that the writing style changed somewhat, became a bit more risque. I just heard recently that there was a bit of ghost writing involved. No it makes sense. Sadler himself was an interesting character. He killed a man stalking him and his girlfriend and was found guilty of Manslaughter and died a few years after being badly disdabled by a reportedly self inflicteds head wound.

I read the first three. Good story.
