Shell Donate 150,000 to Beaver County Community College, Pittsburgh, PA
The gift will address high priority workforce needs and meet industry-specific training requirements as CCBC expands its Process Technology program.
Shell’s gift will further strengthen the College’s initiatives to recruit and train a diverse, skilled workforce for career opportunities available at the new ethane cracker plant in Center Township and throughout the petrochemical industry SGT Ben Keen

Great news! The president of my parish council is a civil engineer and was talking about how a few Exxon guys from Texas have been up several times in the last few years and have said that if the Marcellus shale is exploited to its full potential that the Cleveland-Pittsburgh-Harrisburg corridor could end up being like Dallas-Ft Worth.

Good for Shell, CCBC offers a good quality education for a lot less money than traditional 4 year schools. That 150k will help prepare local kids for the work place, and that in turn will benefit Shell, it is a win-win
