Everything I have bought has been for a specific purpose, and I shoot my CCW or EDC guns frequently. A couple of the guns I have bought in the last three years are now "reserve" or "backup" guns, but any of them can be brought back to "active" service easily.

I got asked "Why do you like the AR15?"
"It's a good rifle, easy to use and I'm comfortable with it having served in the Army."
"So you're trying to re-live your glory days, huh?" He responded with a smirk.
"No son. I was a Platoon Sergeant in an Armored Cavalry Regiment. If I wanted to 'feel' manly again, I would be crushing cars in the parking lot and shooting dump trucks down by the overpass as hard targets."
Kid range-walked away from me.
