If a very a veteran was owed a national apology it's Chavez. I don't agree with all his methods, but he was kind of backed into a corner. I'll allow some of what I disagree with may be misattribution and misinformation. But his legacy stands on its own and should be taught to all military personnel as an example of how we should all come together and be an example for the nation. It's pains me to no end to see veterans participating in any kind of extremist ideology.

Ya, I agree. His methods were often questionable but his cause was just and I'd like to believe that his stick-to-it attitude is something he brought away from the Navy.
