Great article. For some reason I read about her before. Not as previously stated, a few months ago. Way to many great people went unnoticed for far too long.

A story never told. I learned of these women about six years ago on Facebook. Although we were taught the history of the WAAC/WAC in basic training in 1961, not one mention of black women serving during WWII was ever even hinted.
