It is the hardest thing in the world to watch your child be hooked up to different things and you feel powerless and helpless because you can't take away their pain or make their medical issues go away. I feel for these parents but they did absolutely everything they could for their son.

Yes they did. They did everything they could. They had the best care in the country and possibly the world. Shame he was afflicted with a rare condition.
