Ahhh, CTO1. I pity landlubbers who have never been to sea at night, and will never know just what the night sky really looks like, because of light pollution. Sailors are blessed, in that.

SCPO Don Groves - I know what you mean. My wife and I moved 6 month ago and we still aren't unpacked. Our garage is a warehouse. I would love to find my books. Life just gets in the way with our plans sometime. My wife had to have surgery and next week I go in to have a broken wrist repaired.

I have always wanted to try this, but where I live light pollution is a problem. I tried driving in the country, but it still wasn't favorable. A friend told me to try driving up on the mountains north of here, but the time just hasn't resented itself. When I can I will post the results.
