BL: the piracy threat remains real IVO the failed state of Somalia and the Bab el Mandeb, guess that's why they call it the "gate of tears," and armed security teams with counter-piracy measures remain the Mariner's smart choice, SN Greg Wright.

Yeah I haven't sailed there in years, Commander, but I suspect armed teams are now the norm, rather than the exception. A lot cheaper to pay a few hundred k for them, than millions for the ransoms.
